Why should I service my equipment?
CQC regulations, Outcome 11, stipulate that your equipment:
- is suitable for its purpose
- is available
- is properly maintained
- is used correctly and safely
- promotes independence
- is comfortable
How can I ensure my dental equipment is CQC compliant?
By joining Armstrong Young LLP’s Service Plus and setting up a regular equipment maintenance protocol for your Practice.
What is Armstrong Young’s Service Plus Scheme?
Service Plus is a carefully planned, schedule of actions for your dental surgery equipment, aimed at reducing breakdowns and failures. Every plan is tailor made for your Practice and carried out on an annual basis. All our technicians are highly experienced and trained by the leading dental equipment manufacturers; ensuring you receive the very best from your servicing care.
Can regular servicing reduce surgery downtime?
Yes. Whilst attending annual service visits, our highly skilled engineers have frequently diagnosed equipment faults, at an early stage. This has proven invaluable for our clients; providing an opportunity for a quick and inexpensive resolution. Undetected, many equipment faults can escalate to something more serious. This could result in an expensive equipment repair or replacement, as well as creating further financial loss and inconvenience through surgery downtime.
How does the Armstrong Young Service Plus Scheme Work?
It could not be simpler. Call us on 01892 610 202 and request a free survey and quotation. We would arrange for one of our personable engineers to attend your Practice in order to inspect the equipment that requires servicing. We would then provide you with a fully detailed service plan and quotation. Upon acceptance of these, we would undertake all servicing works at a time of mutual convenience, efficiently and with minimum disruption to your Practice.
Can I spread the cost of my Service Plus Scheme?
Yes. Your initial service must be paid in full upon completion. Thereafter, the cost of your next annual service can be spread over twelve monthly instalments, in advance. Many of our clients have found this to be useful for budgeting purposes.
What if I only require one or two items of equipment to be serviced?
No problem. Simply call us to discuss your requirements and we will provide you with an appropriate solution for your needs, together with a quotation. Should a site visit be required, we will provide this service free of charge.
What do I do if my equipment breaks down?
Call us on 01892 610 202 in the first instance. We will note the full details of the problems you are encountering and propose the most appropriate and timely solution.
In some instances our engineers can talk you through a few simple steps in order to get you up and running again – saving you time and money.
Do Armstrong Young engineers carry equipment parts?
Yes. We hold a comprehensive stock of the most commonly used parts. We have found this to be extremely beneficial to our clients, as we can usually get them up and running during our first visit, again saving you time and money.
